Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be in charge of monitoring housekeeping staff in a hospitality establishment. Maintaining stocks, ordering cleaning products, supervising housekeepers, scheduling shifts, training new employees and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Minimum Qualification: HND
Experience Level: Entry level
Experience Length: 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Oversee staff on a daily basis
Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
Respond to customer complaints and special requests
Training housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
Minimum academic qualification of HND in any discipline
2 years of working experience
