Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations at AES Luxury Apartment in Abuja. This includes managing the restaurant, bar, and room service to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, quality of service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and room service.
- Manage, train, and lead the food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor and maintain high levels of quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
2. Menu Development:
- Collaborate with the chef to develop and update menus to meet guest preferences.
- Ensure the availability of a wide variety of quality menu items to cater to diverse tastes.
3. Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the food and beverage budget.
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
4. Inventory and Procurement:
- Oversee food and beverage inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Ensure efficient procurement while maintaining quality standards.
5. Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and standards.
6. Guest Relations:
- Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Strive to exceed guest expectations and maintain a positive reputation.
7. Staff Training and Development:
- Train, motivate, and develop staff to deliver high-quality service.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Up-to-date with food and beverage industry regulations.
