Our client, a leading brand in the FMCG industry is looking hire astute HR Officers that pay attention to details and have great communications skills.



Location: Ota, Ogun


Salary Range: N170,000-N200,000.

At least 3 years’ experience needed.

Responsibilities:

• Departmental record management.

• Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.

• Liaising with a wide range of people and be involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.

• Developing with line managers, HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.

• Planning, and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff.

• Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

• Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

• Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.

• Assist in planning and executing end-of-year activities.

• Maintaining employee records.

• Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.


Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a degree in business administration or any related course.

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience working as an HR and administrative officer, or any other relevant managerial or administrative experience.

• Candidate must be a self-starter and be able to take initiative.

• Candidate must be a flexible, adaptive worker, able to learn fast and keep up in a demanding, high-pressure environment.

• Strong financial and analytical skills.

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws.

• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.

• Knowledge of HR software.

• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
