Description:
Develop detailed structural designs for needed production infrastructures e.g pipelines, storage tanks, etc.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of all structures within the production facility with relevant industry standards and codes.
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Create and maintain accurate records of design changes, project progress, and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
B.Sc. Or HND in Engineering or any related field. Professional engineering license is a plus.
A minimum of 7 years' experience as a civil & structural engineer in the Oil & Gas industry
Several years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry with exposure to upstream operations.
Proficiency in using CAD software for drafting and designing plans, structures, and infrastructure.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with the ability to identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
Effective communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholder.
