Accounting Officer Needed

Location: Abuja

Description:

An account officer is needed to perform some key duties such as:

Posting of transactions into various ledgers.

Preparation of school fees evidence of payment.

Keeping of receivable and payable books of account.

Reconciling bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable and payable balance on a monthly basis.

Ensuring timely payment of undisputed suppliers in accordance with payment terms.

Preparation of monthly staff payroll.

Filing of withholding tax VAT, PAYE and CIT

Preparation and remittance of staff pension on a monthly basis.

Invoicing of students on the accounting software

Assisting in documentation and monitoring of internal control system.

Keeping and maintaining of the asset register.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the senior staff.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience.
